L'ogre

L'ogre is a restaurant and a Cigar Lounge located just in Front of Maison de la Radio in the 16th dictrict. The most striking thing is the friendly service which is quite rare these days in Paris. A very detailed explanation of the menu by the waitress, a saucisson offered as a starter, and a very nice Digestif at the end. Surprising!

They serve a varied menu with meat dishes as well as fish. The meat is very well prepared and we quickly understand that the owners know about good meat, since they have another restaurant with a buchery inside.

I would recommend the Verine of Salmon or the Terrine in Entrée, and a piece of meat as a main dish. Deserts are also homemade and the Baba au Rhum is a blast.

A very good address, friendly and casual, and especially with a small cigar lounge for smokers.Less
