Le Puy Du Fou

I discovered in 2011 le Puy du Fou after 22 years residing in Paris, although I visited all the others several times (eurodisney, parc astérix, futuroscope,...).
I must admit I was bluffed with Le Puy du Fou. First, it's in a very old beautiful forest, where it's great to wonder (hoping you will have good weather).
The theme of this parc is about the History of France, with amazing reconstitution of french typical villages from different periods (1000ac, 1500, 1700, 1900,...). The villages are animated with real people working in the same methods as they used to during these periods.

In addition, you will enjoy several breathtaking shows where kids and adults will equally admire. The shows are done with real actors and the animations are really well done. You also have 2 beatiful night shows.

Try to book in one of the 3 hotels of the Parc because you will need at least two days to visit it correctly. We were in the Gallo Roman villa and the rooms were clean and confortable. The only issue was that we had to wait until 16h00 to get the rooms and we had to clear them out at 11h00.

Also, book in the restaurants which propose shows. I had diner in the one with the tournament between the king of France and the King of England and it's fun; There's also one for lunch with a different show but we did'nt have time to do it;
