If you go to Morocco, you must know that unlike in Europe, Taxis are the most popular way of public transportation in Morocco, and the most widely spread in Morocco. How the Taxis system works is very different from Europe: there are two categories of Taxis.

The first one is the "Taxi Sghir"=Small taxi. It's an urban taxis that can't leave the city it is in. It has a maximum capacity of 3 passengers, and unlike in Europe where the Taxi isn't free until it dropped the current passenger, the small taxi can stop during your route to pick up other passengers that are going in the same direction. Taxis will always try to fill the 3 free seats.
Those small taxis have a counter that they start when you enter the taxi, but if you enter a taxi with passengers already inside, remember the counter's current number because not all taxis have a "smart counter" that can start from zero for each new passenger, so the price you will pay is the difference between the displayed number when you reach your destination and the number that was displayed when you entered the taxi.
The minimum fare is 5 dirhams (MAD)=0.45€

They have different colors depending on the city*

The second one is "Taxi Kbir"=Big taxi
