This new Asian restaurant in Beirut located just in front of Albergo Hotel in Abdel Wahab street is one of Pourcel's brothers new restauant in collaboration with a Lebanese restaurant owner.
The decor in this old traditional building is nice with great luminairs.
The service is good, and some of the dishes are tasty. Nevertheless, the quantity of some of the starters and most of the dishes is too small, with some big differences between plates. An entrecote of 450g and a filet not more than 200g (even less).
Starters: the duck dim sum's were great even if the 4 are pretty light; the Shrimps were also very tasty and the Crab salad was also nice;
Main course: the beef filet was tasty but really super small; the duck curry was super spicy although I asked if it was and understood it was'nt, and the bar filet was also tasty but not very large. The plate sizes are almost ridiculous.
Deserts: Surprisingly, the tiramisu (the best desert we had) and the mango-cocnut pudding were huge, whereas the fruit maki were a normal size of deserts.
As a conclusion, the food is good but too small and uneven quantities; With 75 USD/person, the quality price is average compared to other asian restaurants.
